Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Insphere Classroom (the "Service"), provided by Insphere Pte. Ltd., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users of the Service, including school administrators, teachers, staff, students (where applicable), and parents.

2. Use of the Service

Insphere Classroom is a school management platform intended for:

• Managing student enrolment, attendance, and academic records
• Scheduling classes and school calendar events
• Communicating announcements to parents and staff
• Syncing school events with personal Google Calendars (optional)

The Service is provided to schools under a license agreement. Unauthorised access or use is prohibited.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Ensuring that data you enter (student records, attendance, etc.) is accurate
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised account access

Accounts must not be shared between multiple individuals. Each user must have their own credentials.

4. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Insphere Classroom to:

• Upload or distribute malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or school data
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service
• Impersonate another user or school

5. Google Calendar Integration

The optional Google Calendar sync feature connects your personal Google Account to Insphere Classroom. By enabling this feature, you authorise us to:

• Create a dedicated school calendar in your Google Calendar
• Add, update, and delete school events in that calendar
• Store an encrypted OAuth token on our servers to enable background sync

You may revoke this access at any time from within the platform or from your Google Account settings.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues may cause temporary downtime. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned maintenance.

7. Data Ownership

All data entered into Insphere Classroom by a school (student records, attendance, events, etc.) remains the property of that school. We are a data processor acting on the school's behalf. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Insphere Pte. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, service interruption, or inaccurate data entry by users.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be communicated to school administrators via email, and the "Last updated" date will be revised. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
